A source told Closer Online that King Charles left for Scotland when the couple arrived. According to the source, Meghan saw this as a sign that he was not eager to welcome them.
She was not expecting an official event, the source said. However, she had hoped Charles would show that he was happy to have Harry and his grandchildren back in the country.
The source added that several people sent warm messages, especially members of Princess Diana’s family, the Spencers. Despite this, Meghan reportedly still feels unwelcome among those close to the King.
