Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could face a difficult time as they reportedly plan to settle permanently in the UK.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to Britain last month, according to reports. Their possible comeback has already caused tension within the Royal Family.
Royal commentator Jane Moore told The Sun that everything the couple says and does will receive close attention.
“Every appearance the Sussexes make will be viewed through a royal prism,” she said. Moore added that people would examine their speeches for hidden references to Harry’s family.
She also predicted more disagreements between the Sussexes and Buckingham Palace. Such disputes, she said, could bring extra publicity to the brands that pay Harry and Meghan to attend events.
Her comments came shortly after King Charles reportedly informed public officials that Harry and Meghan would live in the UK as private citizens.
“So fasten your seatbelts, folks. It’s going to be a bumpy ride,” Moore added.
Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals in 2020. They later moved to California with their son, Prince Archie.
The couple have since spoken publicly about their difficult experiences within the Royal Family. They also raised concerns about racism involving their son. Harry and Meghan welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, after moving to the United States.
