Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend the world premiere of Digger, starring Tom Cruise.
The Royal Film Performance will take place at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square on Tuesday, September 22.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will be joined by Cruise, other cast members and the filmmakers behind the film.
Royal expert Rebecca English said Warner Bros. Pictures and the Film and TV Charity will host the premiere.
This will be the charity’s 73rd Royal Film Performance during its 100-year history.
The Film and TV Charity has also announced a special screening of Digger at Cineworld IMAX in Leicester Square on the same night. The screening will allow fans to watch the film on one of the UK’s largest cinema screens while supporting the charity’s work.
Tom Cruise will give IMAX ticket holders a special welcome before the movie begins.
The event will give movie fans a chance to enjoy the excitement of the Royal Film Performance in the heart of Leicester Square.
