Prince William did not answer reporters’ questions about his uncle Charles Spencer’s new book during a visit to London’s Act One Cinema.
The visit took place as Spencer released Swan Song: Diana, My Sister on Tuesday. The book is about William’s mother, the late Princess Diana.
According to Kensington Palace, Act One Cinema is an independent community venue that brings people together through film.
As William arrived, reporters asked how he felt about the book and whether he had read it. He walked into the cinema without responding.
The book includes disputed claims about his father, King Charles.

Buckingham Palace responded by saying the king was “mindful that the pain of fraternal grievance can cloud reason, judgment and memory”. The statement suggested that the pain of losing a sibling could affect how events are remembered.
