Meghan Markle and her family are reportedly facing more security concerns after returning to Britain.
According to New Idea, there has been a “spike in security alerts” involving the family. The report says these concerns increased after the publication of Earl Spencer’s book.
A friend of Meghan reportedly said she is worried about her family’s safety. The source claimed that Meghan and her family have worked hard to keep their personal information private, so she was upset after her phone number was reportedly shared publicly. She is also said to fear that their home address could be revealed next.
There are also claims that Meghan sent a letter to parents at Archie and Lilibet’s new school, as well as nearby schools. The letter reportedly asked parents to take photos only of their own children.
According to the source, Meghan is now being very careful about security. The friend even claimed that she may already have emergency “grab-and-go” bags packed in case the family needs to leave quickly.
The report also says Meghan is looking for a private and secure hotel where she and her children could stay during an emergency.
The sources claim that Meghan has asked her longtime friends Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi for help. According to the friend, Ellen knows about several private and secure places in the area, and Meghan reportedly trusts both Ellen and Portia.
