The royal commentator believes Harry’s recent charity appearances show how much he missed home.
Prince Harry appears happy and relaxed during his reported return to the UK, according to royal commentator Jennie Bond.
Speaking to the Mirror, Bond said Harry had described his first few weeks back as “eventful.”
She said Harry and Meghan were reportedly surprised by a palace message clarifying their status as private citizens. Bond suggested they may have felt angry, although this was her interpretation.
She also referred to problems with the school run, which she believed would have been upsetting for the family.
Despite those difficulties, Bond said the couple appeared to be getting on with their lives quietly. She added that Harry had looked particularly happy at his charity events.
“He seems quite open about how pleased he is to be back in the UK,” she said.
Bond said she had thought Harry was happy living in California, but his recent appearances suggested he had missed parts of life in Britain.
“There’s clearly a lot about home that he was missing,” she said, joking that this might even include the weather.
