King Charles has reportedly been told about a proposed service that could bring his sons together.
Prince William and Prince Harry could attend a church service together to mark the 30th anniversary of their mother Princess Diana’s death, according to a new report.
Writing for Mail Plus, royal commentator Richard Eden cited sources who said palace officials were planning a service on or around August 31 next year.
The event would honour Diana’s life and could offer the brothers a chance to reconnect. However, their attendance has not been confirmed.
King Charles, who reportedly hopes his sons will repair their relationship, is said to have been informed about the proposal.
Royal columnist Ephraim Hardcastle said the King had apparently “raised no objection” to a thanksgiving service for Diana.

The proposed event would be similar to the service held in 2007 at the Guards’ Chapel at Wellington Barracks to mark ten years since her death. That service featured Diana’s favourite music, and Harry delivered a tribute to his mother.
Hardcastle suggested that although William and Harry appeared unwilling to work together, a religious service could help them take a step towards repairing their relationship.
