King Charles reportedly hopes his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, will end their long-running feud. A new report claims the brothers may be preparing to speak privately.
Royal commentator Rob Shuter shared the claims in his Naughty But Nice newsletter, citing unnamed sources.
According to those sources, William and Harry feel that continuing to avoid each other is becoming embarrassing. One source said their ongoing disagreement is damaging both brothers’ public image.
The report claims that arrangements are being discussed for a private phone or video call. Their wives and children would not take part.
The article also says Charles reunited with Harry in July and has been waiting for William to become more open to talks.
Other reports claim the King has made another personal appeal to his sons to make peace. He reportedly hopes they can repair their relationship before the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death next year.
Kate Middleton and Princess Anne are also said to support the King’s efforts to bring the brothers together.
The possible talks and the family’s reported involvement are based on unnamed sources and have not been confirmed in the report.
