Queen Camilla has reportedly softened her stance towards Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, with an unnamed source suggesting her own legacy could be part of the reason.
Speaking to Closer Online, the insider claimed Camilla believes an alliance with King Charles’s younger brother could prove useful.
“Camilla is always looking out of herself and there’s no denying that an alliance with Andrew could soon come in very handy for her,” the source alleged.
According to the insider, the pair have found common ground through their shared love of horses and their years spent in the same aristocratic circles. Their conversations have reportedly become more frequent, with people around them noticing a warmer relationship.
However, the source suggested Camilla’s approach also reflects concerns about the damage Andrew could cause if he chose to speak publicly about the family.
