Royal experts say Prince Harry may find it more difficult to repair his relationship with Prince William when his older brother becomes king.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal commentator Hilary Fordwich said Harry’s public comments about private family problems, and the money he has earned from sharing them, have caused damage that cannot be undone.
She warned that making peace could become harder, or even impossible, once William takes the throne.
Another commentator, Ian Pelham Turner, said King Charles could ask William to consider repairing the relationship. However, he believes William may be unwilling to change his mind.
The experts also discussed reports that Harry is planning a documentary about Princess Diana to mark the 30th anniversary of her death. They said the project could increase tension and give William another reason to distrust his younger brother.
Commentator Helena Chard questioned Harry’s explanations for his family’s move. She suggested that the reported documentary plans were the main reason.
Chard argued that such a project would make the brothers’ relationship worse rather than help them reconnect.
She claimed William has rejected every offer to take part in a Diana documentary because he does not want to speak so openly about his mother. She also said taking part would be emotionally difficult for him alongside his royal duties.
According to Chard, William does not want to draw attention to Harry’s reported documentary or have the brothers presented as rivals.
