Royal fans have shared their views after a royal expert said the Palace is unlikely to get involved in the reported controversy surrounding Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle.
Speaking to Page Six, royal expert Andrea Caamano said she did not expect the Royal Family to step in.
She added that, despite Harry and Meghan’s reported return to Britain, family relationships remain difficult. In her view, the Palace would want to stay out of matters involving Meghan’s father.
Some readers agreed. One said the issue was Harry and Meghan’s responsibility. The commenter also claimed that Prince William had encouraged Harry to spend more time getting to know Meghan and her family before marrying her.
Another reader questioned what support Harry and Meghan had offered King Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales, during their cancer treatment.
A third said the Palace had no reason to release an official statement because Harry and Meghan are no longer working royals.
A fourth accused the couple of failing to support Charles and Catherine during treatment. However, the article provided no evidence to support that claim.
