Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is living comfortably at Marsh Farm and spending time with friends, according to a source who spoke to The Times.
The source said his lifestyle remains similar to the one he enjoyed at Royal Lodge. They said he goes out, joins friends for shooting trips and stays in touch with people who remain loyal to him.
However, the source claimed that his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, is not welcome at his home.
Sarah Ferguson’s living arrangements remain unclear
Other sources claim Sarah has kept a low profile and stayed with friends after losing support from much of her social circle.
Sarah has faced public scandals before. In the 1990s, photographs from a holiday in St. Tropez showed her in an intimate moment with American financial manager John Bryan.
The article also describes more recent difficulties, including the reported loss of her title and the home she shared with Andrew for many years after their divorce.
It says Andrew’s arrest brought further public attention to Sarah and their daughters. Documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein also raised questions about her relationship with the convicted sex offender.
Family may be a reason for her return
Speaking on A Right Royal Podcast, HELLO!’s royal editor Emily Nash discussed possible reasons for Sarah’s reported return.
Nash suggested Sarah might have inherited money from her friend Paddy McNally, whose property she had stayed at in Switzerland. This was speculation, rather than a confirmed inheritance.
Nash also suggested that Sarah wants to spend more time with her grandchildren, including her new granddaughter, Adelaide.
She noted that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank live in Portugal but travel back regularly. Princess Beatrice also has children whom Sarah may want to see more often.
In Nash’s view, being closer to family could be an important reason for Sarah’s return.
