Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked King Charles for his continued support for Ukraine.
Zelenskyy met the King during a visit to the UK as the war in Ukraine continues. After the meeting, he posted a thank-you message on his official Instagram account.
He said he valued the chance to thank the King in person. He also expressed his thanks for the help the UK has given Ukraine.
The Royal Family’s official Instagram account shared his message in its Stories.
Zelenskyy previously told The Guardian that he would like King Charles to visit Ukraine. However, he said safety concerns could make a visit difficult.
He said Ukraine would welcome the King, but he was unsure whether a visit would be possible that year.
