Earlier reports hinted at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex receiving an invitation from the monarch to take part in this year's royal Christmas festivities at Sandringham.

"It's rather peculiar to have acted poorly, demanded an apology and an acknowledgment of 'guilt'—without success, I must add—from the family, and now propose a return as if past grievances can be forgotten with a simple invitation."
"This raises the question: why now? Could it be linked to the challenges they've faced with their commercial deals, such as Spotify, unraveling, and facing mockery in the U.S. on shows like South Park and Family Guy?" questioned the source.
Another insider revealed that the couple has come to realize that their strategy of "complaining about the hardships of being part of the Royal Family" has backfired on them.
