Prince William Makes 'Final' Decision Regarding Prince Harry's Role in Royal Family

Amidst Family Health Crisis, Prince Harry's Hopes for Royal Return Dashed

Despite the ongoing health crisis within the royal family, Prince William remains resolute in his stance regarding Prince Harry's potential return to royal duties.

In statements attributed to Paul Burrell, former butler to Princess Diana, speaking to the Daily Express on behalf of Slingo, it's asserted that Prince William has firmly "drawn a line in the sand" concerning his estranged brother's reintegration into royal life.

Amidst speculations that Prince Harry might contribute to royal duties as King Charles and Kate Middleton scale back their public engagements due to their battles with cancer, Burrell emphasized William's stance. "There is no place for Harry in the royal fold," he stated. "Too much has been said. The drawbridge is up, and there is no way back for Harry."

Burrell elaborated further, highlighting William's perspective: "William has drawn a line in the sand and has had enough, so Harry will forever be the outcast Prince of his own making."

Regarding Prince Harry's perceived hopes for a partial return to royal duties during the family's crisis, Burrell conveyed, "In his own mind and his world, I think he thought it was a possibility." However, he emphasized that this notion is not feasible in the eyes of the royal family or the public.

"It is not possible in the Royal Family’s eyes, or the public's eyes," Burrell remarked. "His job as a member of the Royal Family is over."
