Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Commit to Upholding King Charles' Legacy

The couple has already begun their search for the ideal school for their children.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are dedicated to maintaining royal family traditions regarding the education of their children, Archie and Lilibet, according to a royal expert.

Despite stepping back from royal duties and leading a relatively "normal" life in Montecito, California, the couple is not ready to forgo certain customs from Harry's privileged upbringing in England.

Royal author Tom Quinn revealed that attending the best schools is a non-negotiable for Archie and Lilibet. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Quinn said, "Meghan has always been determined that her children should grow up with a very good relationship with their mother Doria, so it’s no surprise that Doria is the live-in nanny."

Quinn added, "One of Meghan‘s difficulties when she was a working royal living in the UK was her lack of experience dealing with staff. In Montecito, she has kept paid staff to a minimum, but while she avoids the royal tradition of employing many staff, she sticks to the tradition of sending children to elite schools."

He continued, "Lily is lined up for a $60,000-a-year private school. Early on, there were rumors that Meghan and Harry might send their children to a local state school, but that was never really on the cards. It made it look as if the couple were trying to be as ordinary as possible, but no one was fooled. Harry wouldn’t consider anything other than an elite education for his children. Choosing an elite school is very much in the royal family tradition."

Reports indicate that Harry and Meghan have already started their search for the perfect school for their children. A local journalist, Richard Mineards from the Montecito Journal, claimed that the couple has been considering local school options as Archie approaches his fifth birthday.

Mineards said, "Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are eyeing entering their two children, Archie and Lilibet, at a local private school. The Riven Rock twosome were spotted inspecting an institution's campus last week, bringing them one step closer to a decision."

He added, "School fees in our area range from $60,000 to $50,000 plus for older grades, with most institutions having 100 percent of students going on to attend four-year colleges."
