According to insiders, Meghan is uneasy about Kate’s involvement, fearing it could draw Harry back toward royal life. “Meghan isn’t happy at all,” a source told Closer Magazine. “She’s panicking about Harry being pulled back into his old life.”
For Meghan, it’s said to be “far better” if Harry remains separate from the royal family, ensuring their independence from palace pressures. The source added, “The idea of him growing closer to his family again has her worried, and she feels Kate is meddling with the intention of bringing Harry back into the fold.”
Kate’s role as a potential mediator between William and Harry reportedly includes arranging private discussions. Sources claim Kate secretly met with Harry in October to encourage open dialogue and has kept in intermittent contact since, hoping to ease the strain on the brothers’ relationship.
