King Charles is said to have made a decisive and controversial move to resolve ongoing issues with his brother, Prince Andrew, as tensions over the Royal Lodge continue to mount.
According to insiders quoted by Radar Online, the King is determined to address the "Andrew problem" before it’s “too late.” The monarch, currently undergoing cancer treatment, is reportedly focused on preserving the royal family’s reputation and believes this may be his final opportunity to act.
“Charles has tried everything to get Andrew to reduce his expenses and scale back his public lifestyle,” a source revealed. “But Andrew has remained obstinate, insisting he’s within his royal rights.”
Faced with no alternatives, the King has allegedly taken a “nuclear option” by cutting Andrew’s financial support, leaving him to manage his own expenses. “From Charles’ perspective, he had no other choice,” the insider added.
The King is also pressing for Andrew to vacate the sprawling Royal Lodge, a demand the Duke of York has resisted. Reports suggest Charles offered Andrew the smaller Frogmore Cottage as a replacement, but the disgraced royal rejected the proposal, deepening their rift.
