Royal author defends Camilla amid backlash following Channel 4 documentary.
The Duke of Sussex has come under fresh criticism for his alleged negative feelings towards Queen Camilla, as a royal author accuses him of harbouring hostility towards his own family and people.
The backlash follows the release of a Channel 4 documentary exploring Queen Camilla’s transformation from being seen as a "wicked stepmother" to a respected and much-loved royal figure. However, royal biographer Angela Levin slammed the portrayal, claiming it failed to reveal the truth about Camilla’s relationship with Harry.
Speaking on GB News, Levin argued, “There was no chance to explore what her relationship was really like with Harry or the positive things she’s done. William has been incredibly grateful to her, but Harry appears to have a very nasty attitude towards her and others.”
Levin defended Camilla as a "marvellous" woman who won the respect of the late Queen Elizabeth II and the wider royal family due to her dedication to charitable work and unwavering support for King Charles.
Reflecting on her time spent with Camilla while writing her biography, Levin added, “She didn’t seek a career but chose to support the King through her charitable efforts. She’s a woman of great steadiness and warmth.”
The controversy comes as Harry’s position in the US remains under scrutiny, with reports of political developments, including South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem being considered for a federal role, potentially signalling further challenges for the Duke.
