Duke of Sussex’s accounts questioned, raising tensions within the royal family
Amid his ongoing professional separation from Meghan Markle, Harry is under renewed scrutiny following revelations about his memoir Spare. The Duke of Sussex had previously claimed the book exposed hidden truths about the royal family. However, palace insiders, as reported by royal expert Robert Hardman, have now contested the accuracy of Harry’s accounts.
In an updated edition of his book, Charles III: New King. New Court, Hardman quoted an advisor who expressed concern over the legal and personal implications of Harry’s alleged inaccuracies. “Here you have the King's son suing the King's ministers in the King's courts. That is pulling the King in three directions,” the insider remarked.
One disputed account involves Harry’s memory of being informed of the Queen Mother’s passing while studying at Eton. However, sources allege that Harry was actually in Switzerland with King Charles and Prince William at the time, raising questions about his version of events.
With further court cases looming, insiders caution that any misrepresentation of private conversations could lead to serious legal ramifications.
