The Prince of Wales enjoys seaside barbecue with celebrities in Cape Town as he wraps up his South Africa tour.
Prince William ended his solo visit to South Africa with a lively seaside barbecue at Cape Town's Kalk Bay Harbour. The Prince of Wales was seen enjoying the event alongside supermodel Heidi Klum, fashion icon Winnie Harlow, and actor Billy Porter. The group gathered for discussions on sustainable fishing, part of an initiative linked to the 4th annual Earthshot Prize Awards held on November 6.
During the beachside event, the Prince and his celebrity guests participated in a traditional South African barbecue, known locally as a "braai." A viral video captured William smiling and mingling with the group as they sampled local seafood.
Earlier in the day, William arrived at the harbour by lifeboat, following a visit to the National Sea Rescue Institute. He was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd and took part in an impromptu walkabout, chatting with hundreds of locals gathered around the fishermen’s stalls. As a gesture of appreciation, he was gifted beaded key rings, including personalised ones for his children.
Prince William is now set to return to the UK, where he will reunite with Catherine and their children, following a successful and engaging tour in South Africa.
