Sarah Ferguson’s Daughter Embraces New Royal Duties While Expecting Second Child
Princess Beatrice stepped up in her new royal role this week, representing King Charles at The King’s Foundation’s Future Textiles exhibition held at the Garrison Chapel in London.
The 36-year-old royal was warmly welcomed by Jacqueline Farrell, Education Director of the charity, and engaged with students, alumni, and industry partners from the King’s Foundation courses. Beatrice appeared in her element, exploring various textile techniques and even trying her hand at smocking and embroidery.
The exhibition celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Future Textiles program, a pioneering initiative launched by King Charles at Dumfries House in 2014. The program aims to bridge the skills gap in the UK’s fashion and textiles industry through specialized education and training.
Princess Beatrice’s involvement highlighted the remarkable success of the initiative, which has positively impacted over 7,000 individuals across multiple sites, including Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire, and Trinity Buoy Wharf in London.
The King’s Foundation, originally founded by King Charles in 1990 as The Prince’s Foundation, continues to focus on creating sustainable communities that harmonize people, places, and the planet.
Beatrice’s engagement at the exhibition reflects her growing responsibilities within the royal family as she supports King Charles in his charitable efforts, while also preparing to welcome her second child.
