York sisters could play a role in Sussexes' royal reconciliation
Princess Beatrice has taken a significant step amid growing speculation that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be planning a return to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex, fresh off a legal victory against News Group Newspapers, is reportedly eager to bring his children, Archie and Lilibet, to his homeland so they can connect with their British roots. A close friend of Harry told Hello! Magazine that he is keen for his children to experience the place where he grew up.
Amid these discussions, royal expert Jennie Bond suggested that Beatrice may have shared photos of her newborn daughter, Athena, with the Sussexes. Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “I imagine that Beatrice has already pinged a picture or two [of Athena] to Harry and Meghan.”
While Bond does not believe this will hasten a visit, she noted: “Perhaps if charity work or business brings Harry this way, he’ll be keen to meet his new cousin.”
Beatrice and her sister, Eugenie, have long shared a close bond with Harry, and some royal watchers believe they could help bridge the gap between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family. As speculation over Harry’s return continues, the York sisters may play a crucial role in any potential reconciliation.
