Duchess reveals both children are unwell as she opens up about motherhood struggles
Meghan Markle has offered a heartfelt glimpse into her personal life, revealing that both of her children—Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet—have recently been unwell.
Speaking on the second episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, released on April 15, the Duchess of Sussex shared that Archie is battling RSV while Lilibet has been diagnosed with Influenza A.
During a candid conversation with Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code and Moms First, Meghan opened up about the challenges of balancing work and motherhood. “My kids, for example, right now one has RSV and the other has Influenza A,” she said. “Cough syrup all night and rubbing their back, and you still have to find a way to show up for both.”
The episode focused on the realities faced by working women, with Meghan and Reshma discussing how to prioritise health and well-being while managing the demands of work and family.
Their conversation also highlighted the need to redesign workplaces to better support mothers—an issue both women are passionate about.
