Duke Breaks Down Over Security Loss, Royal Rift, and Children Growing Up 'Robbed of Love'
Prince Harry’s emotional BBC interview has sparked fresh concern over the impact of the royal rift on his children, after he admitted he can no longer safely bring them to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex revealed he has no plans to return with his wife Meghan Markle and their children following the rejection of his appeal for police protection—an outcome that could leave him with £1.5 million in legal costs.
Reacting to the interview, former royal gardener Jack Stookes told GB News that Archie and Lilibet are “two innocent children caught in the middle” and growing up “robbed of all that love.” He added, “What’s hitting him now is seeing his children grow up without that connection to their grandparents.”
Stookes also questioned whether Meghan’s father plays any role in their lives, asking, “Is he seeing the kids? Are they in contact?”
During the same interview, Harry voiced concerns over King Charles’ health, saying, “We don’t know how long he has left,” and revealed that the monarch “won’t speak to me.”
Buckingham Palace issued a brief statement in response: “All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts.”
