Prince William and Kate Reportedly 'Ban' Harry and Meghan from Palace Conversations

Sources say couple seeks peace by avoiding any mention of the Sussexes

Prince William and Catherine are said to be intentionally avoiding all mention of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex behind closed doors, in an effort to maintain peace and reduce stress within their household.

According to Us Weekly, the Prince and Princess of Wales were particularly unsettled by Harry’s recent BBC interview, where he spoke candidly about the strained relationship with his royal relatives.

“William is more hurt than anything else,” a royal insider claimed, adding that the couple have emotionally distanced themselves from Harry and Meghan and have made a conscious effort not to engage in conversations about them.

“They’re trying not to speak about them at all for a less stressful environment,” the source said. Meghan Markle’s name, in particular, is said to be virtually “off-limits” to palace staff.

“She doesn’t want it anymore,” the insider explained, noting that staff members have been instructed not to mention Meghan’s name in Catherine’s presence due to the emotional toll.

Even if there is a potential thaw between the brothers, insiders suggest the divide between Catherine and Meghan may be permanent. “Kate will never see Meghan again,” the source stated flatly.

Reports also suggest William may go so far as to exclude Harry from his eventual coronation, should current tensions continue.

“I think it’s done… I don’t think there’s any coming back from that,” one source told Page Six, while another added, “Before the interview, there was hope. Now it seems Harry hasn’t learned anything.”

While a royal reconciliation once seemed possible, those close to the couple believe the future king and his wife have firmly shut the door—for now.
