Singer embraces singlehood, laughs off dating talk, and prepares for Las Vegas comeback
Jennifer Lopez is opening up about her life after divorce, revealing she’s feeling “happy” and content as she moves forward following her split from Ben Affleck.
The 55-year-old singer, who ended her three-year marriage earlier this year, spoke candidly in a recent interview with Access Hollywood. Sharing a humorous exchange with comedian Tiffany Haddish, Lopez said, “She said that to me! I said, ‘Girl, I’m not looking for no man. I’m happy right now. I’m not trying to ruin it, okay?’”
Lopez echoed that sentiment in a separate conversation with Spanish publication El País, reflecting on her personal journey: “I’m happier that I’m a step further along than I was a year ago, two years ago, three years ago… I’m proud that I was able to navigate my children through difficult times, that they’re stronger and better because of it.”
On the professional front, the On The Floor star is preparing for her second Las Vegas residency, which is set to begin on May 28. She also returned to the stage with a performance at the American Music Awards on May 26.
Lopez and Affleck filed for divorce in August 2024 and finalised their separation in January 2025.
