Princess Charlotte captured hearts in the Wales family’s Father’s Day portrait, but royal watchers noticed a subtle, sentimental touch in her outfit — a scarf once worn by her mother, Catherine.
The 10-year-old stood beaming between her father and brothers, dressed in a simple khaki jumper. What stood out, however, was the green and navy tartan scarf tucked between her top and Prince Louis’s — a cherished piece from Catherine’s wardrobe.
The scarf, designed by Kiltane, was last seen on Catherine during the family’s Christmas Day walk to church at Sandringham. This thoughtful fashion nod came as the children shared their Father’s Day message: “Happy Father’s Day, Papa. We love you! G, C & L.”
This isn’t the first time Charlotte has mirrored her mother’s elegant style. At last week’s Trooping the Colour, both wore shades of blue. Catherine stunned in a bespoke aquamarine coat dress by Catherine Walker, paired with biscuit-toned heels and a Juliette Millinery hat, while Charlotte wore a complementary hue, further echoing their close bond.
