Prince William and Princess Catherine have expressed their gratitude after being granted a significant royal honor by King Charles, marking a new milestone in their royal roles. The couple will now serve as royal warrant grantors—joining the King and Queen Camilla in continuing the centuries-old tradition of recognising excellence in British craftsmanship and industry.
Kensington Palace shared the news through the Waleses’ official Instagram account as part of their monthly “June Recap,” which offered a look back at the couple’s busy month of engagements and family moments. “Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to be able to recognise and celebrate British industry, creativity and skills through the granting of Warrants,” a spokesperson for the Prince of Wales said in a statement.
The recap highlighted several key appearances, including Prince William’s visit to the Army Air Corps as Colonel-in-Chief, and Princess Kate’s standout tour of the V&A East Storehouse—her first public outing in weeks. The couple also delighted royal watchers with their family appearance at Trooping the Colour on June 14, joined by Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Later in the month, the Wales children helped mark Prince William’s 43rd birthday with a sweet family photo featuring the Prince and their dog Orla and her puppies. William also drew attention for his cheerful outing with Duchess Sophie at the Royal Cornwall Show.
