Prince and Princess of Wales release special video to mark milestone
Kensington Palace shared a touching update on behalf of Catherine following a major announcement for the Wales family on Friday. The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, will be leaving Adelaide Cottage and moving into their long-term residence, Forest Lodge, which is currently undergoing modest restorations.
Catherine has often spoken about her love of nature and how it became a vital part of her recovery during cancer treatment last year. True to its name, the Windsor property is surrounded by greenery, offering the family a peaceful setting.
To mark the moment, the official Wales account reposted a short film directed by Will Warr for the Royal Ballet School. The school thanked Catherine for conceiving the project, which celebrated “Mother Nature and the spirit of summer through movement and dance.”
The video ties into Catherine’s upcoming nature-themed series, a reflective project exploring healing and connection through the natural world. Narrated by the Princess, the series has been filmed in places including Sheffield, North Wales, Anglesey, and the southern coast, with more instalments expected in the coming months.
In the latest clip, young girls dash through woodland before performing a graceful ballet routine. Their laughter and energy, combined with the beauty of the setting, create an uplifting picture of joy and renewal.
