Former royal photographer claims heir now insists on being called 'Sir'
Prince William is facing new claims about his private conduct after a former royal photographer alleged the heir to the throne has become “very aggressive” with staff and is demanding to be addressed only as “Sir.”
Ian Pelham Turner, who worked at the Palace during the days of Princess Diana and the then-Prince Charles, said he has heard repeated complaints from within William's circle about his behavior. Speaking to GB News, Turner suggested the Prince of Wales's personality has shifted in recent years, moving from easy-going in his 20s and 30s to a more formal and demanding figure as he approaches kingship.
Turner recounted an example from a volunteer at one of William's housing charities, who claimed the prince would contact him “all day, all night” asking, “How much money have we made?”
Publicly, William is seen as warm and approachable, but Turner said that behind palace doors “more and more allegations” are being voiced about his treatment of staff.
The remarks come as wider tensions within the royal family continue. While reports suggest King Charles may meet Harry in September as part of tentative reconciliation efforts, insiders say William remains reluctant to welcome his brother back.
