Public poll shows strong support for the Prince and Princess of Wales while the Sussexes struggle to win favor
William and Catherine have once again topped a new popularity poll, cementing their place as Britain's most admired royals and widening the gap between themselves and Harry and Meghan.
The latest YouGov survey, which ranked 20 members of the royal family, found the Prince of Wales leading with an impressive 74% approval rating. Catherine followed closely at 71%. Both enjoyed low disapproval rates — just 17% for William and 14% for Catherine — and strong backing across all age groups and genders.
In contrast, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain near the bottom of the rankings. Only 28% of respondents viewed them positively, with individual approval ratings for both Harry and Meghan sitting at 20%. Negative sentiment was high, with 67% disapproving of Meghan and 62% of Harry.
The couple ranked just above Prince Andrew, who received only 5% approval and an 87% disapproval rating.
One area where the Sussexes performed better was among younger Britons. A third of those aged 18 to 24 viewed Harry favorably, compared with 17% of those over 65. Meghan received 25% approval among younger people, but just 10% from the older generation.
While these numbers mark little change from YouGov's May survey, Meghan's rating remains tied for her lowest on record, highlighting the continued public divide between the two couples.
