King Charles visit to Clarence House sparks talk of reunion with Prince Harry

Royal fans hope for long-awaited father-son meeting during Harry’s UK trip

King Charles has stirred excitement over a possible reunion with Prince Harry after being spotted arriving at Clarence House in London this afternoon. The King returned from Balmoral and reached the royal residence at around 3:46pm, travelling from a private airbase with a police escort.

Harry was seen earlier at University College London and is expected to attend another event tonight, raising hopes that their overlapping schedules might allow a brief meeting. The Duke of Sussex is also due to appear at an engagement linked to the Invictus Games later this evening.

During his four-day visit, Harry has attended the WellChild Awards, where he received gifts for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who stayed behind with Meghan Markle. He spent time meeting and posing for photos with the children being honoured at the ceremony.

Harry is expected to remain in the UK until Thursday, and sources say both he and the King are keen to arrange a private meeting before he leaves. Harry, who has previously spoken about wanting to mend ties with his family, is said to be willing to “drop everything” to make it happen.

The two last saw each other about 18 months ago, shortly after the King’s cancer diagnosis in February 2024. Their potential reunion this week has sparked renewed hope among royal watchers for a long-awaited reconciliation.
