Duchess pauses her projects to back Harry during UK visit
Meghan Markle has shown a heartfelt gesture of support for Prince Harry as he continues his UK tour, just hours before his possible meeting with King Charles.
Taking to Instagram, Meghan shared an endearing video of Harry playfully fencing with nine-year-old Gwen Foster, who was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. The moment took place on the first day of his visit, during the WellChild Awards. Meghan added pink heart emojis to the clip, which was originally posted by Hello! Magazine on TikTok with the caption, “Prince Harry is in his element at the WellChild awards!”
In a show of quiet support, Meghan has also paused promotion of her upcoming With Love, Meghan series on Netflix and put her lifestyle brand As Ever on hold, allowing Harry to take the spotlight during his UK engagements.
Her thoughtful gesture has been seen as a boost for Harry, who may soon have a crucial meeting with his father. Many royal watchers believe Meghan’s warm reaction could offer him the encouragement he needs as he navigates the emotionally significant visit.
