Duke of York seen near Windsor Castle amid fears “incriminating” messages could surface
Prince Andrew has been seen near Windsor Castle just hours before Donald Trump’s state visit, as pressure mounts over both men’s past ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to Daily Mail, the Duke of York was spotted driving around the Windsor Estate on Monday, September 15, appearing “pensive” as he looked out from his car. His sighting came as King Charles III and Queen Camilla prepared to host the former US President and Melania Trump from September 16 to 19.
The visit has already been overshadowed by controversy, with growing scrutiny of both Andrew and Trump’s connections to Epstein. A royal insider told the outlet that the King is “dismayed” by the “unwelcome distraction,” especially in the wake of Peter Mandelson’s recent sacking.
Tensions escalated further after reports that the United States Congress is reviewing what are described as “incriminating” emails between Andrew and Epstein. “If you think what’s happened to Peter Mandelson is bad then you have no idea what will happen when the Andrew emails are released. They are embarrassing and incriminating and he could be destroyed,” a source claimed.
Public backlash has been intense. Around the same time Andrew was seen on the estate, a massive banner the size of a tennis court featuring an infamous photo of Trump and Epstein was unfurled near the King’s doorstep in Windsor.
