Sussexes to appear in The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to make a rare joint on-camera appearance to deliver an exclusive message about their family in an upcoming anniversary special celebrating Disneyland.
According to People magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will feature in the 70th anniversary programme titled The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland — A Special Edition of 20/20.
A press release issued on September 15 revealed that the special will include childhood memories from several Hollywood stars, including Neil Patrick Harris, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jon Favreau, Patrick Warburton, and Tiffany Haddish, as well as “an exclusive message from Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, on what the park means to them and their family.”
The theme park holds special meaning for the couple, who earlier this year celebrated their daughter Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday there alongside their son Prince Archie.
“Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!” Meghan wrote on Instagram at the time, sharing a video montage from the trip.
The in-depth feature will premiere on ABC News on Sunday, September 21, offering a look back at the history and cultural impact of the park.
