Prince William Reportedly Wants Prince Andrew Out of Royal Lodge

Move to Windsor creates tension for the Wales family and the ‘bad uncle’ next door

Prince William and Catherine are said to be facing a new family dilemma as they prepare to move into their “forever home,” Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park. The property, where they plan to give their children a fresh start after a challenging year, sits close to Prince Andrew’s residence, Royal Lodge — a fact that could complicate things for the future king.

According to The Mirror, royal commentator Sarah Vine suggested that William and Catherine would prefer to keep their distance from the Duke of York, referring to him as “Bad Uncle Andrew.” She noted that the couple likely has little tolerance for people linked to “known sex traffickers,” adding that their decision to settle in Windsor might signal a push for change within the family’s living arrangements.

While King Charles has so far allowed Andrew to remain at Royal Lodge, reports suggest this could soon change. Vine hinted that William, once fully established in Windsor, might insist on Andrew vacating the property — a move that could end the King’s quiet protection of his brother and mark a new chapter in how the royal family handles its more controversial members.
