Queen Camilla Reportedly Turns Down Sarah Ferguson’s Book Collaboration

After losing her Duchess title, Sarah Ferguson faces rumours of another royal setback linked to her writing career.

The royal family has had a turbulent week following the fallout from the Duke of York’s scandal. As Prince Andrew relinquishes his titles amid ongoing scrutiny over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, is reportedly facing challenges of her own.

According to the Daily Mail columnist Ephraim Hardcastle, Ferguson—who recently lost her right to use the title “Duchess” and will now be known simply as Sarah Ferguson—was allegedly “snubbed” by Queen Camilla. Hardcastle claimed that Ferguson, who considers herself a dedicated writer, approached Camilla about a potential collaboration on her upcoming children’s book, Flora & Fern: Kindness Along The Way. The proposal, he wrote, was “firmly rebuffed.”

The report highlighted that Queen Camilla’s Reading Room project, launched in 2021 to promote literature, has never featured any of Ferguson’s works.

However, a spokesperson for Ferguson told the Mirror that no such offer was ever made and denied claims of a royal snub.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew continues to attract attention for his financial arrangements. Recent reports suggest he has been living at Royal Lodge in Windsor without paying rent for over 20 years, covering only minor expenses such as water bills.
