Beatrice and Eugenie Face New Palace Rules

King Charles’ team steps in after senior royals express concern

Officials at Buckingham Palace have introduced tighter guidelines for Andrew and Sarah’s daughters after a run of negative headlines.

A recent report says their daughters were given firm instructions from King Charles’ advisers after senior royals, including William and Catherine, were left upset by a tea event hosted at Riyadh’s Ritz-Carlton on 27 October. The gathering drew scrutiny because of past claims from 2017 involving the treatment of high-profile guests at the venue.

According to Closer Magazine, the choice of location was viewed as tone deaf in light of earlier controversies linked to Andrew and Sarah. A source said William and Catherine had been supportive of the sisters but were unsettled when the images surfaced, adding that they now expect the pair to follow Palace guidance more closely.

Going forward, the Palace will apply an approval process to their public engagements to avoid a repeat of unwanted publicity. Senior aides are determined to prevent any further issues tied to the York family name.
