Problems linked to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor are far from over, even as he prepares to leave Royal Lodge. Royal watchers have been warned that there is “no magic wand” to repair the damage caused by his past and his links to Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking to GB News, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said the situation remains unresolved, particularly around Royal Lodge and the release of Epstein-related files.
“I don’t think there is a magic wand here,” he said. “There is still a lot to be settled, with Royal Lodge and the Epstein files. It remains to be seen what will come of them, and with so many redactions in the released files, we will have to wait and see what more comes out about that period.”
Andrew was stripped of his royal titles last October after King Charles acted under sustained public pressure. He has since been instructed to vacate the 30-room Royal Lodge estate, which he has occupied for years.
Removal vans have now reportedly been spotted at the property, with palace insiders saying his departure is expected soon.
A source said work is still underway at his new home, Marsh Farm. “The snow or rain hasn’t delayed the work, but it still needs a lot of attention to make it habitable,” they explained.
They added, “One thing is certain. It is far smaller and far less luxurious than Royal Lodge.”
