Catherine has no interest in spending her time or emotional energy worrying about Harry, according to a new report. The Princess of Wales is said to have reached a point where she would rather focus on what matters most to her, especially her family, than dwell on long-running tensions.
Writing in The Times, royal commentator Kate Mansey explained that Catherine sees life as “far too short” to remain preoccupied with the Duke of Sussex. The view is shared by Prince William, with the couple choosing to put their energy into raising their children and moving forward.
Mansey noted that Harry is no longer in contact with his brother following repeated public criticism of William and Catherine. Given that history, it is hardly surprising that the Prince and Princess of Wales have decided to draw a line under the situation and concentrate on their own lives.
The expert also suggested that Catherine’s recent health ordeal has sharpened her perspective. Having faced serious challenges, she is said to be more aware than ever that holding on to resentment or frustration simply is not worth it.
Strains between the brothers were highlighted again during a disagreement over travel plans. According to Mansey, there was frustration in William’s camp when Duke of Sussex announced a visit to Canada at the same time as William’s official trip to Brazil, despite later denying any attempt to overshadow his brother.
Overall, the message from those close to the Prince and Princess of Wales is clear. Catherine is focused on the present and the future, not old disputes. For her, life is too short to stay stuck on past drama.
