Insiders say she wants the feud to end but will not chase him anymore
Catherine is reportedly pushing ahead with a trip to the United States alongside Prince William, and sources claim she is quietly hoping it could help mend fences with the Duke of Sussex.
The visit is expected to coincide with celebrations around America’s 250th anniversary in early July. While the trip is officially about royal duties, insiders suggest Catherine also sees it as a chance to ease tensions between William, Harry and Meghan Markle.
A source told Heat World that Catherine feels the long-running feud has gone on far too long. She is said to believe old grudges should be set aside and views this visit as a possible turning point. According to the insider, she knows there are hurt feelings on all sides but cannot bear the idea of another year passing without progress.
The same source claims Catherine still cares deeply about Harry and would like him back in the family. However, she has reached a point where she no longer wants to be the one doing all the work. The message, they say, is that the next move has to come from him if he truly wants peace.
There is still some optimism. Harry’s recent approval for security has reportedly been taken as a positive sign, with hopes that it removes one of the main reasons Meghan Markle and the children have stayed away. Some believe this could lead to a gradual thaw in relations, though Catherine is said to be clear she will not be leading the process.
At the same time, insiders say there is little chance William will offer an apology, leaving the situation stuck for now. Harry, meanwhile, is said to be focused more on King Charles, who is believed to want his sons to resolve their differences.
The source adds that Charles is likely to apply gentle pressure for reconciliation, something Catherine would welcome. For now, she is said to be holding on to hope but standing firm in her view that any real progress must come from Harry himself.
