A frightening moment in a London courtroom has reportedly strengthened Prince Harry’s determination to regain full police protection in the UK.
An insider claims Harry was left shaken after a known stalker sat just a few metres behind him during the opening of his privacy case last week. The woman was reportedly spotted by his security team, who alerted court staff. However, because the hearing was open to the public, no immediate action could be taken.
According to Radar Online, the incident has become central to Harry’s argument that he is not safe in Britain without official police protection, which was withdrawn after he stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
“This court stalker incident has reinforced everything he’s been warning about,” a source said. “It’s now a key part of how he is framing his ongoing fight over UK security, because it shows how exposed he feels when he is there.”
The insider explained that Harry’s private guards were limited in what they could do at the time. “They are not law enforcement, and the High Court is a public space,” the source said. “Unless a crime is taking place, all they can really do is observe and alert court officials.”
The experience is said to have heightened Harry’s anxiety about his personal safety, especially when he returns to Britain. The source added that realising how close the woman had been left him genuinely unsettled and reinforced his belief that, without full protection, he is far more vulnerable than he should be.
