Prince Harry is reportedly feeling the pressure as Meghan Markle lays out a detailed list of demands ahead of a possible return to the UK.
According to insiders, Harry is worried that Meghan’s expectations could derail his quiet efforts to repair relations with King Charles. The couple are said to be considering a UK visit later this summer, potentially linked to upcoming Invictus Games events. If it happens, it would mark Meghan’s first trip back since 2022.
Sources claim the situation has become a major source of stress for Harry, who fears the demands could reopen old tensions with the royal family. One insider said Meghan’s requests have been described as “diva-like” and could undo any progress Harry has made behind the scenes.
Even before any visit is officially confirmed, Meghan has reportedly outlined strict expectations around accommodation, security, and travel. According to Radar Online, she wants to stay at Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace and expects the residence to be prepared to her exact standards.
That preparation allegedly includes bringing in a specialist team to overhaul the space, replacing cookware with approved items, switching cleaning products, and re-washing all linens using chemical-free detergents. While Meghan is said to be willing to pay for some personal extras, the source claims she believes the main costs should be covered by the royal household.
In her view, accommodation, security, and preparation of the residence are entitlements normally afforded to senior royals. This stance is reportedly another point of concern for Harry, given his delicate relationship with his family.
The insider also claimed Meghan wants a full support team to travel with them, including private chefs, a personal yoga instructor, and two Norland College-trained nannies hired at the same level as those caring for the Wales children. On top of that, she is said to be requesting a stylist dedicated solely to Archie and Lilibet.
With expectations running high and tensions still unresolved, Harry is said to be increasingly anxious that the visit, if it goes ahead, could cause more problems than it solves.
