Reports claim staff were moved into temporary accommodation after the royal downsized his residence.
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is facing renewed criticism after reports suggested members of his staff have been placed in temporary accommodation at his new home.
The Duke of York recently moved from Royal Lodge in Windsor to a smaller five-bedroom property on the Sandringham estate. Due to limited space at the residence, a mobile home has reportedly been installed on the grounds to house some staff members.
However, the arrangement has allegedly sparked frustration among employees.
According to Radar Online, insiders claim several staff members feel the situation is unfair and degrading. One source said workers are “absolutely furious” and believe they have been pushed into temporary accommodation as an afterthought.
The insider alleged that Andrew still expects the same level of service despite the reduced living space, which has caused resentment among those working for him.
At Royal Lodge, staff reportedly had far more space and proper accommodation within the property. The new residence, however, does not offer the same capacity.
Sources claim that instead of reducing expectations or adjusting staffing arrangements, a mobile unit was installed on the grounds, a solution that has not been well received.
Another palace aide told the outlet that some employees feel they are being treated as expendable and expected to accept conditions far different from what they were used to previously.
Insiders also claimed the mobile home has been placed discreetly on the property, which has only added to the sense of frustration among staff who feel their concerns are not being addressed.
The latest criticism comes as Andrew continues to face scrutiny over past controversies, including his widely criticised links to convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein, which remains one of the most damaging chapters of his public life.
