Insiders say the actor is open to a deeper future as the couple steps out together
Leonardo DiCaprio’s relationship with Vittoria Ceretti is said to be entering a more serious phase, following their recent appearance together at the 2026 Academy Awards.
According to a source cited by People, the Hollywood actor is increasingly invested in the relationship. “This relationship with Vittoria does feel different and more serious. He genuinely cares for her,” the insider shared.
While marriage may not be on the immediate horizon, the source claimed that Leonardo is, for the first time, open to the idea of a long-term future. Vittoria’s independence has reportedly played a key role, particularly given the actor’s demanding filming schedule.
Another insider noted a noticeable shift in his behaviour, suggesting he has been more openly affectionate with Vittoria than in past relationships, something friends have not typically seen.
The couple were last spotted together at the 98th Academy Awards, where Leonardo, 51, received a Best Actor nomination for his role in One Battle After Another.
Leonardo and Vittoria first went public with their relationship in August 2023, when they were seen together in Santa Barbara, California. At the time, sources described Vittoria as “sweet, charming, and very likeable,” with Leonardo appearing clearly drawn to her.
Although the pair have kept much of their relationship private, recent appearances and insider claims suggest things may be moving in a more meaningful direction.
