A brief but noticeable moment between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has fuelled fresh speculation about their relationship during their recent trip to Jordan.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in the region for a packed schedule of engagements centred on global health and humanitarian work. However, a short exchange between the pair caught attention online, with observers questioning whether tension was visible beneath the surface.
According to an insider speaking to Radar Online, the moment was brief but noticeable. “For a short time, Harry and Meghan exchanged some terse words. It’s unclear whether it was due to their intense 48-hour schedule or something else, but it raised eyebrows,” the source said.
The insider also suggested that the focus of the trip appeared to lean heavily toward Meghan’s role. “This was Meghan’s show. Harry looked as if he was just along for the ride,” they added.
Despite the speculation, sources insist Meghan remained fully focused on the purpose of the visit. With several UN representatives present at the WHO forum, she was reportedly keen to engage and build connections, choosing not to let any personal matters interfere.
At the same time, Harry was said to appear more reserved during parts of the trip. According to the insider, he may have been mindful of the criticism the couple often faces, particularly around what some describe as “faux-royal” engagements.
The source went further, suggesting the couple may need to reassess their approach moving forward. “This may be the last time we see them on a similar trip,” they claimed, adding that Harry is especially aware of the need to rethink their strategy.
