Royal expert claims brothers’ relationship has reached its lowest point amid family pressures
The strained relationship between Prince William and Harry is said to be at its bleakest stage yet, with fresh claims suggesting there is no communication between the two.
Speaking on Hello! Magazine’s A Right Royal Podcast, royal commentator Russell Myers described the situation as beyond repair for now. According to him, everything he has heard points to the bond between the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex being in its worst state ever. In his words, it “couldn’t be worse,” adding that for the moment, it appears “done.” He did suggest there may be room for change in the future, but not any time soon.
The reported distance comes at a time when William and Catherine are focused on pressing family matters. With three young children at home and their eldest preparing to move up to secondary school, their priorities are firmly centred on stability and family life.
There is also ongoing concern about the King’s health. While he is said to be responding well to treatment, the wider family remains mindful of the situation. At the same time, Catherine has only recently stepped back into public life following her own health challenges.
Against that backdrop, Myers explained that reconnecting with Harry simply does not rank high on William’s list of immediate concerns. With so much happening behind the scenes, repairing the fractured brotherly bond appears, for now, to be far from the top of the agenda.
