Insiders claim the late-night relocation heightened tensions inside the Royal Family
King Charles and Prince William were reportedly left deeply uneasy after Prince Andrew allegedly arranged a secret move for Sarah Ferguson before she travelled to Austria.
According to insiders, the situation created significant discomfort within royal circles, with some senior members said to be particularly troubled by how the arrangement was handled.
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has recently been seen staying in Austria after stepping away from public attention. She had previously lived at Royal Lodge in Windsor for more than two decades alongside Andrew, despite their divorce.
Reports suggest that after Andrew left Royal Lodge and moved to temporary accommodation, Sarah was quietly relocated to the same residence before eventually leaving the United Kingdom.
Radar Online, citing palace insiders, claimed the move was carried out discreetly to shield Sarah from scrutiny at a sensitive time. One source alleged that she was brought to Andrew’s residence late at night before later departing for the Alps.
“The way Andrew handled Sarah’s move, arranging for her to be relocated quietly before she left Britain, has left senior royals deeply uncomfortable,” the insider said.
A palace aide also suggested that the decision was intended to avoid public attention during a critical moment. However, the secretive nature of the move reportedly intensified tensions within the Royal Family.
While the claims have circulated among royal watchers, neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for Andrew and Sarah have publicly commented on the reports.
