Prince Harry Would Welcome a Sandringham Invitation if the King Wants Time With His Grandchildren
King Charles could see his grandchildren whenever he wishes if he simply invites Harry, Meghan Markle and their children, Archie and Lilibet, to visit the UK.
Reports suggest the Duke of Sussex would welcome the chance to spend time with the King at Sandringham House and bring his family along. However, any visit would still depend on security arrangements, which Harry lost after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.
According to a source quoted by The Times, a formal invitation from the King could resolve that issue. The insider said that if Harry were invited by Charles, a security package would automatically be put in place, making the trip possible.
The source also claimed Harry would be open to the idea of spending time at Sandringham, though it could depend on who else might be present. They added that he values time with his father and would welcome the opportunity to see him more often.
A separate source close to the Sussexes told the Daily Mail that the situation could be simple if Charles truly wants to see his grandchildren.
“If the King wants to see the kids, all he needs to do is invite them over and it can happen,” the source said.
